I agree that unfounded hype is bad. I've read over the press releases in the last few months and do not see this hype. Management is positive on the future but I have not seen anything that is too optimistic. I was in this stock much earlier in the year as a trader after the Centauri was first approved. I believe the company is trying to enlarge its managing effort to reduce Cozean's exposure to the media. Notice in some recent press releases on hand-held corneal topogograghy systems EyeSys president Rao does the talking. Investor's speculations, rumors, and hearsay cause other exaggerations. PLSIA is in a somewhat difficult position to analyze because of the large number of new products they are coming to market with, waits for approvals, working out bugs in first systems, and getting approved by user communities such as ADA. I think they are in the right areas and that they will succeed.
Also as far as shortsellers, it's difficult to figure what's going on with the present exercise of Class A warrants. Both the common stock and Class B warrants are being shorted by many market makers who exercise the A's. They can make profits in any discrepencies in price since they don't pay commissions and also make markets in the A's. That's why I'm so bullish on the Z's. They are held down artificially. This morning when 125,000 warrants traded in the first 7 minutes this had to be exercises of A warrants. Also, who do you think is buying stock and warrants at these levels. It looks like MM's to me. Just my 2 cents. Appreciate yours. Maybe together we'll end up with 5 cents.
