I don't understand the desire for "jobs". Fewer jobs to achieve a better result is ideal. How many of these jobs are actually medical treatment jobs rather than paper shuffling and money counting jobs?

<Since the Affordable Care Act was signed into law in March 2010, the health care industry has gained nearly 1 million jobs—982,300, to be more precise—according to Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates released on Friday.>

A kleptocracy can require unlimited "jobs".

I would even count jobs trying to discover the effect of CO2 on blood pH in normal healthy man in the street and woman in Peoria.
