In the 70's and 80's social movement leftists declared an agenda called "a Paradigm Shift" in which the bad old white guy power system would be dismantled and replaced by the good new girl power system. What you are seeing is the end game of that movement which lost sight of its founding principles decades ago. At this point it is just dismantle any and every standard or tradition for the sake of fundamental reform. Very destructive and without real purpose.
