Hmmm,

My PV system cost about $1.00 per watt.

PV's, racking, wiring, inverters, charge controllers, ect.

I provided the engineering, design and installation myself.

Up on Stuart my off grid PV and wind system saves me over $7,000 a year over what a fossil fueled generating system would cost to operate and maintain.

Not to mention it's not reliable, pollutes and generates noise.

A $1 a watt....

Pretty good for a bullet proof, ultra reliable system.

P.S.

A grid tied system costs about the same.
