This thread has always been helpful, so here goes: I'm considering the purchase of a tape backup unit for my home network (currently two PC's). Does anybody have any recommendations or warnings about specific products? I checked briefly and notices DAT drives are now $600-700, almost half of what they were last year. I'd rather spend $300 though.
