Uh, the Greenhouse Effect

You are missing the point. While atmospheric CO2 concentration is ~0.04% the remainder of gases account for 99.96%. Add up the heat capacities of N2, O2, Ar and even CO2 and double the concentration of CO2 and the temperature rise is insignificant. Once you add water vapor which is at least 2% of the atmosphere any CO2 concentration contribution is nothing. I'm not denying that [CO2] is increasing and almost certainly due to the industrial revolution but it is impossible to explain temperature rise via CO2.
