That is a very cool tool, and one I've never owned. I see it is being sold in the U.S. on AZ for $8.63 with free shipping. There is a "Heavy Duty" model for three times the cost without free shipping. I might look for one at a kitchen store to get a feel for it. I'd like to share one of my kitchen tricks. When making egg salad, prepare the eggs as usual and when ready to make the salad, peel the eggs and run them through a cookie rack like this directly into a bowl. I use an electric egg cooker exclusively, (similar to the one at the top in this link), and have for over 20 yrs. I wouldn't know how to boil an egg in water.
