I make wine at home - have been doing it for years. Wine containers are heavy, which precludes buying wine through the mail until Amazon Prime came along. Kits cost between 30 and 90 dollars and make about 35 bottles of wine. The fruity whites are great for summer parties, the reds for table wine. It's fun to practice and experiment with new flavors and new grapes from around the world.
