If the hospitals don't treat people-------what happens to people?????

Euthanasia as some advocate----as some advocate and not used widely in the USA? I find Euthansia repulsive, reminding me of the slaughter of Jewish people in Germany. In my book that was not acceptable and Euthanasia not acceptable.

If a patient doesn't die in the hospital-----the next move is often , from the hospital to rehab centers and then if they can't be rehabilitated physically and or mentally----- to a nursing home that are for profit------at $7,000 to 10, 000. in our area per month.

Nursing homes take the social security first and then add other costs, few Americans can afford the costs. Or, some greedy home care giver gets paid and simultaneously steals the person's money for their own use. Even a greedy lawyer can come in and decimate the possibilities of caring for the person, as happened in Northern Virginia.

Thanks to families who did become wealthy in the 1900's we do have some hospitals that participate in "grants" from the charities those families set up. There are some that exist.

If you or a family member needs help---------ask about such grants when a loved one enters a hospital. These trusts and grants and charities were set up by the families and organizations to care for people.
For Veterans it is another 'ball of wax' to be navigated.

Sometimes it is best to close a hospital----------if it no longer has a community to support it. That happened in my hometown-----------the hospital served it's purpose-------a new state of the art hospital was built just 3 miles away.
