RESEARCH ALERT - Electronics sector cut

--BancAmerica Robertson Stephens analyst Keith Dunne Monday
cut earnings estimates for eight companies in the electronic
manufacturing products and services sector, citing increased
uncertainties in technology markets, particularly personal
cumputers and data communications.
--In addition, Dunne downgraded ACT Manufacturing Inc
to long term attractive from buy, citing "increased
concerns about how fast the company can get back on track
following recent disappointments."
--He also downgraded Computer Products to buy from
long term attractive.
--Dunne lowered estimates on ADFlex Solutions Inc ,
Flextronics International Ltd , Hadco Corp ,
Jabil Circuit Inc , Park Electrochemical Corp ,
Sanmina Corp , and SCI Systems Inc .
--"Despite our lower estimates, we remain fully committed
to our belief that continued outsourcing trends and industry
consolidation should provide most electronic manufacturing
products an services companies with strong growth opportunties
for years to come," Dunne said in a statement.
--He said he expects ADFlex Solutions, Hadco Corp, Jabil
Circuit an Sanmina to outperform the market over the next three
to six months.
