consolidation is a desperation act of a company that has no other financing option but to "appear" more palatable at a higher share price. it rarely works out. but we're not there.
virtually 100% of all pps over the last few years were hogged by the maj. shareholder. I don't see him giving up at this critical stage. so further dilution? maybe by late next year w/pps taken by insiders, but consolidation? no, don't see the desperation requirement much less the advantage to anyone, except the lawyers like you just mentioned.
