Sorry for a delayed response Paul, but I thought I'd let you know that PeopleSoft 7, the latest release of PeopleSoft, has decertified Oracle 8 as a database platform. Most of the Oracle customers that I have talked to are staying away from Oracle8 until they come out with a "stable" platform. The stability may be a perception, but it is certainly delaying a majority of the PeopleSoft customers from upgrading. FYI, I have worked with Oracle8, and when everyone figures it out, it will be a hot seller. PeopleSoft 7 is supposed to deliver 3-tier performance, however Oracle 8 delivers near 3-tier performance without the 3-tier cost! Kipper
