I should emphasize, I have NO IDEA what this "server back-up" method costs. I said 1/10, but that's a wild-assed guess. I bought a ditto drive this year and a 1 gig tape, and paid close to $200. My point is, it's got to be cheaper than that -- there's no hardware! And space on a server has to be cheaper than a $20 tape. I wouldn't be surprised if they factored it all into the software purchase price and didn't charge a monthly storage fee. Nobody is going to subscribe to a PC backup plan, IMO.
