The entitlement state does continue to expand as more of the Baby Boom retire and collect welfare benefits from Medicare and Social Security.

But what would your alternative be? Death camps for seniors?

The Baby Boom generation paid a lot of taxes into these two programs, the proceeds of which Ronald Reagan invested in "income tax rate subsidies" for the wealthiest Americans over the past 30 years.

Would it be such a problem for seniors to expect to receive a return on Reagan's investment of their retirement savings?
