Bush was a fine president during difficult times. There is really no accomplishment to Obama's credit, and certainly none that will stand the test of time. Bush did a lot of positive, important stuff and history will remember him well.

I don't know if Obama is the worst president in history; there are several presidents I don't know much about. But he certainly is during my lifetime, and I would think at least in the last 100 years no one comes close to be as terrible as Obama.

I still see Bush as one of the great presidents of my lifetime, overall. He may well be remembered even more positively than Reagan once the real historians start looking at his record of accomplishment.

There is no hope for Obama to be seen positively by history, imo. He just hasn't done anything positive worth remembering, and historians probably won't give him a lot of credit for having been president during a period during which everything government touched turned to shit.

I know there are smart Democrats. I just don't know of any.
