You keep building a strawman and knocking it down. I never said that tough situations don't exist. I said that how you deal with them says more about you than anything else. After all, it is easy to be principled when there isn't much at stake.

And no, I don't know if the Bush administration, or Obama's for that matter, did/does everything in their power to act honorably.

Since you seem so convinced of the righteousness of our politicians, why don't you tell me how overwhelming the evidence is in their favor.
