I imagine he had already been put on notice that there was no way that the contract he had with Teck would be honored

..as soon as they were tipped to the mineralization in the PFS, that piece of paper was garbage for all intents and purposes..a screw up by some Teck junior executive

..that he should stop busting his ass on Schaft because Teck was going to take it away from him anyway so just take whatever buyout was offered and move on

Teck would plant their own guy in there to do the advance work for them

..whatever grandiose survey or flyover scheme on the whole property, paid for by CUU investors would be OK

..he could define a whole district..not some piddly mine like the contract called for

Elmer appears to be a perfect patsy for that assignment

..cause that is what he did and what he is

..and anyone who relied on the Salazar agreement to make his investment decision has a clear case for fraud in the inception

..although they continued to hold it out as the basis for the investment, they knew they were going to default when the time came..and then they did
