I think Teck would be part of my portfolio with a blank slate. The depressed price and continued commitment to a dividend (as yield reaches 7%!).

For high risk - reward investment I am considering MIN (Excelsior). Digging deeper into in-situ solution mining, I did read the Excelsior story and it looks pretty good considering their current market cap. They have progressed all the way to Positive PFS stage, and have almost 4 billion lbs of copper. That they are trading at a market cap of only $30 million is intriguing to me, but also a big indicator of how bad the Venture is right now. If we are near bottom, there is a lot of upside.

Without knowing what CUU plans to do going forward on spending it would be hard for me to put money there. I still think SC is worth way more than the dime or so that we are trading at, but they have too many projects in their craw and need to spit a few out. If they came out publicly with a plan and it makes sense to me - sure I think there is upside. If we spend ourselves dry its going to get ugly. That risk needs to be dealt with IMHO.
