Officials issue high-tide warning on California coast

  • MONTEREY, Calif. (AP) — Officials warn boaters and beachgoers to be especially careful of high tides along the California coast.


  • Mark Strudley of the National Weather Service in Monterey said that he expects high tidal activity through Tuesday. He said it will peak Monday, with the likelihood of flooding at low-lying areas along the coast.

    1924 to 2013 which is equivalent to a change of 0.66 feet in 100 years.
