If you ignore ocean heat content, there has been no warming since '10 tied '05 as the hottest year. On 1/1, it looks like we can say there has been no warming since '14. Very ominous, since it's not an El Nino yet. The Brits think that we can say "There has been no warming since '15" on 1/1/16. climate-lab-book.ac.uk "2 mm per yr is nothing to get excited about" It is if you built something 8 inches above sea level in 1900.
