Is there anybody who is surprised that a much more powerful machine would improve performance?

I'm not surprised. Not in the least.

Kind'a reminds me of Tim Allen's show "Home Improvement". Tim's mantra there was ...

"MORE POWER !!"

So, now what are we to conclude about the claims from SI-central that the speed issues were network related?

Like, for instance ... it was those nasty search engines crawling the site.

I guess all that was needed was a bunch of paid ads and fancy logos to bring in enough bux so they could afford to update this ancient platform to today's standards.

Now, will they sublet the excess capacity to some other hardware-poor website that is [allegedly] being decimated by those nasty search engine crawlers?

Have I mentioned lately that censorship sux?

No?
