No they don't. Local affiliates typically have local management. Their goal is to compete with local broadcast affiliates of other networks. Their programming is primarily made up of sitcoms, reality shows and entertainment talk. Fox News competes with other national cable news channels, with news and opinion dominating the programming. I can't believe somebody would be stupid enough not to know the difference.
