Arthur, I have been watching the volume at the 3 Ames stores here in eastern Connecticut, along Rte. 395. (Norwich,Griswold,And Dayville).The parking lots are now full most weeknights up until almost closing time. The 30% off sale this past Fri. and Sat. produced overflowing lots with cars parking on side streets. Looks like a good Christmas For AMES despite weakness among some of the other retailers. PC
