Barb,
You can simply call the company & ask for investor relations - Claude posted the phone number.
By the way, related to your demanding the number, can you explain why it is that I, and others who favor the stock, have to prove (or allow your kind to check out) anything we claim, while you, and your kind, can make whatever outrageous claims you care to & never respond to requests for solid backup information.
There's an old rule of marketing that applies here - when your product (story in this case) doesn't have much differentiation (depth in this case) then you just yell louder (or, embellish). Thus the shorts rant & rave about shortcomings in the company, drug, management team, etc. - and their source is Asholio - or another short.
Zonagen has completed all the required cinical trials on this drug. No drugs are taken through clinicals in this day without a very close interchange between the company and the agency. If the agency made it known that there was something wrong with the results - then additional trials would be undertaken, or, if it was clear that there was no hope, the drug would be abandoned. Furthermore, FOUR of the biggest drug companies in the world negotiated with and all of them made offers to Zonagen for the rights to market this product. The successful one paid $10 million up front, with $47 million more to come in milestone payments & a substantial royalty to follow. Please don't tell me that this is an insignificant investment or that big pharma throws money like this around frivolously - you embarrass yourself & make me feel sorry for you.
If this were a small semiconductor firm, and CPQ, IBM, Dell & HP were vying for the rights to a particular technology & CPQ wound up with it, would you listen to a single (or even a few) naysayers that trashed the whole situation - especially when they have not demonstrated even the the most rudimentary understanding of how the industry in question really operates?. Why should we worry about the unsubstantiated claims of a CPA (maybe) with an agenda against the actions of four big pharma companies. The whole situation is ludicrous & not worth the effort to argue - especially under these rules where your kind doesn't feel the need to prove anything - you guys are like kids on a playground insulting each others mamas. The sad thing is that these empty shirts can have an effect. In a market that is constantly being examined for signs of exhaustion, and a few international scares, some people will, justifiably, be quick to protect their gains - that's OK - but to do so based on trashy commentary is unfortunate. Trust me, no one wants to know what's going on with Zonagen any more than I do - but I don't have time or patience for mental myopics with an agenda.
Bring some logical arguments - right now I'd like to see some sane discussion on the possibility that this market size has been overestimated - and bring some reasonable, verifiable data to back up what you say - don't quote some raving lunatic with an economic agenda and a track record of lying - backed up by court decisions.
Keep it reasonable & I'll gladly have a dialogue with you - otherwise........{{{Yawn}}} |
