It would not be surprising, since we have been through this period of suppressed economic growth due to Obama policy and now having the Republicans in charge of Congress (not that they're that much better, but getting Reid out of the Senate leadership position is probably the best thing that could happen short of the president retiring early; no matter how much one dislikes McConnell, he is obviously a giant improvement over Reid). Still, it will take decades to undo the damage of the Obama presidency, I suspect.
