Indeed I did not know for sure, but the fundamentals of several companies looked pretty solid. An example? Checkpoint Software (CHKPF). Bought low, sold high, looks like the other day would have been another great time to get in. They've got increasing earnings, an expanding customer base in an expanding market, excellent products, and several awards under their belt. Want another one? Lucent Technologies (LU). The stock price has stuttered a bit with the rest of the market but they've got the same earnings and increased business that shows great growth. Howabout Davox (DAVX) with an 18% earnings surprise last quarter. Don't tell me I don't have a clue when you're sitting on a 70% loss.
