I spoke to the Chairman and then the founder of Hut last summer and asked about the multi kiosk/store phenomenon. They both pointed out that the purchase of sunglasses is a highly impulsive sale. So, you could walk past one or two Huts and then by the time you start to go past the 3rd one, you stop and try on some, and then maybe you buy. If there had been only one store in the mall, you would have passed it and forgotten about shades entirely. Hauslein went on to say that some of the plain kiosks you see in the middle of the mall walkways are some of the most profitable Huts out there. I was complaining because those kiosks usually have a boring display.

About the inventory, I thought it was worked down lower than 124M, although I can't remember what the number was supposed to be.

ps. I am completely out of Hut since about 2 Fridays ago. Of course I got out at 6 5/16 and two days later the stock bid 6 11/16. Man I was pissed. I hope some of you lightened up on that fake rally. I should have shorted some there to make some money back!
