Valeri,
I agree with you. I have only seen stocks go UP when the split is announced. I know that the split was first announced in Oct but was not voted in until this week. I bought SUNW when the split was first announced and it was very slow moving until the stockholders voted on it.
I personally have traded stocks when the splits were announced and made money.
