Town Uses Letter of the Law To Have Childish Nativity Scene Removed

by BFH • 12/24/2014 • 17 Comments

An “atheist” -a disbeliever not content with merely not believing, but someone who insists on being insulting – put up the nativity scene seen above, and the town is asking for it to be taken down. They’re citing city ordinances which the structure violates.

The ProgressiveSecularHumanist has some disgruntled commenters. One of them said, “how much do you want to bet that if it was a traditional nativity nobody would have said diddly?”

You figured that out all on your own, didja? Most towns like representations that motivates its citizens toward civility, The Ten Commandments, peace, warmth and goodness. You know, the sort of things atheists claim they stand for… when they’re not displaying flesh eating zombies.

Most people grow out of that period when they try to “shock the elders” in order to prove that the boy who was once in the short pants can now speak when not spoken to. Not atheists, though.
