That's bad enough.

But it is absolute intelligence malpractice to kill even the terrorists who could be captured without interrogating them.

Should there be another major attack against the United States, Obama's decision to opt for killing these people instead of interrogating them will have to carry a portion of the blame. The interrogations conducted on captured terrorists were critical to Bush's success in preventing subsequent attacks. We are no longer getting that information.

50 terrorists in a coordinated attack against US elementary schools is not beyond the realm of possibility. Then, it will be too late to say, "I told you so" or "We tried."
