H James: Interesting that you mention SFAM - I ran my screens on Zack's last weekend looking for undervalued growth, and narrowed a list of around 4,000-5,000 stocks to 25 or so - and one of the "survivors" was SFAM, along with one of my favorites Align Rite (MASK) and another mask maker DuPont Photomasks (DPMI). Of course Kulike & Soffa also made the list, with contract manufacturer Hadco, and Gasonics, and Richey Electronics. FSII did not make the list, unfortunately, but I still like the company a lot at these prices.

I felt like a kid in the candy super-store with only a dime to spend. I did find one gem that was not an electronics related company - they are into medical diagnostics, that I may pile into depending on further research.

In general there are a lot of things that are undervalued here - which to me means that long term they should do well as a group as performance and the financial ratios revert to the mean.

Best - Joe
