The reason I posted that Time article was it properly put the primary blame where it belongs -- on Clinton.

Your link to the Bush blunders at Time was terrible. Because none of the stuff listed there is substantive. For example, no mention of 9/11 which by any reckoning should have been a terrible economic disaster; yet, Bush managed to avoid more than a blip. The claim about the tax cuts, which comes up chronically, is ridiculous given that tax revenue literally soared after those cuts.

It is just weak, and this is the kind of BS history has to sort out when you have a partisan media. It is, and it will.
