First, we need to establish that some kind of abnormal climate change is even occurring, which hasn't been done as yet. If it turns out people are causing the climate to change then maybe we can figure out if it is really a problem or just something that's happening that doesn't matter. Finally, if it is determined that it is a problem, at that point we can figure out the best way of addressing it.

We're still on step 1.
