Yes, the last sentence of the press release on the "bunny suit" dolls was REALLY stupid ("If you can't sell chips sell dolls"). I think Intel has an internal "booby prize" award for stupid statments, which Andy and Craig won for the statements in the WSJ article that started the DEC lawsuit. Whoever made that statement should win the award for the current period. In all seriousness, however, it does seem unlikely that this had any REAL impact.
