thanks and howdy Ron: shown below is my newest GPRO related equipment for this coming 2015 use in our personal travels and sports activities - birding, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, skiing the backcountry on skinny boards and pin bindings, and sailing:
I will upload here some of the captured footage that I will save at my private youtube channel and share some links here by 2015 year-end .. I have shared some video links in recent months at Don W's board from my 2012 to 2013 travels in the Rockies and in Utah
I study and use some form of video capture technology for 18 years now since partially and fully retiring, and have owned Canon, Sony, Nikon video capture devices which all still function for their purpose, and am now prepared to enjoy the use of the latest GoPro line of pro quality capture ... I do a great deal of Mountain biking in the spring and summer, and grouse hunting in the fall/winter .. my still photos of grouse in various positions of stillness while they hope to not be noticed are really something to behold and I am thinking of hunting the birds now with the camera only and allowing our Border Collie to flush every one of each hidden grouse grouping so I can shoot their flight with the Hero instead of the shotgun

this video shows Trumpeter swans in their winter habitat and a couple moose grazing on the moss beds within the river .. if you watch, you will see an eagle come into the scene from behind me and then the approach of a flying Trumpeter .... I shot this with a cheap Sony Point and Shoot camera, Not a video camera, because of the moisture in the air and the 2-hour hike into this spot among deadfall trees and deep snow was not a stable path for an expensive video camera in my pack

turn on your speakers .. the river sound and ducks quacking is a treat |
