Suggest you read the NSCP-ATHM news which everyone on this thread is mysteriously ignoring. Cost of delivery + cost of conversion makes tearing out T1 and replacing with HFC for intranets a lock. There is no economy of scale anywhere for Cu. It astounds me that only the telco engineers and consultants seem to understand this. I know there are lots of efforts everywhere to get DSL going, but you said it yourself. They can't deliver even on cost. They can't compete even against 33.6. Don't fall into the ISDN trap. After all, someone is using ISDN, I think. The NSCP-ATHM news is terrific. We seem to prefer discussing short interest or CATV rather than this important development. Come on you guys.
