You have to completely ignore brokers to buy techs. You do have to pay attention to analysts as contrary indicators. SI is the best resource for techs, you have more knowledgable people here (along with some crackpots) than you do in newsletters. The problem is with tech there are so many unknowns--a new killer app can make all predictions worthless. I think the next killer app is instant Internet through the cable modem and ADSL that will make computers a necessary home tool. I don't know if the next 5 point move is up or down (although I predict sharply up today on the good news out of Japan) but the next 15 points is straight up.
