Wow, thanks for the very informative post. I couldn't have asked for more. Searching franticly for an Amati replacement has gave new meaning to Shrini's "Lets keep em all". <G> I could run out of $ real fast. I think it was you that had asked about ATM & from everything that Ive read it seems to me a fairly safe assumption that the near to mid term updates of the internet backbone will be this. Watch gigabyte ethernet & anything Lu, Coms, IBM, etc. might introduce. Maybe Metcalf meant GEDSL. :} Some of the others that have posted on this thread have a pretty good grip on ATM. As for Anicom. It was about this time last year I first heard it mentioned on Money Line or Nightly Business Report. It was about $10 @ the time & was a very serious consideration then. They had just bought a company & gaining market share. Still not bad @ $16. Re: ORCL I think that the viedo server product (I believe it was Orcl) should really fly. As to working there, sometime this last year someone called w/ a survey aking what companies I liked & would consider working for, Orcl was one of them & would be a good choice IMHO. Re: YURI You may have made a wise choice here. Coms @ 29 a few weeks back screamed BUY ME. Web TV is becoming very popular in the area which I live. Another trend Im statring to warm up to is the idea of caching web pages even though I didn't like it @ first. I think Mark L. watches this a little. Im not up on the others you mentioned but would like to thank you for your input. I holding 1000 shares of SSPIF @ 5.875. No Pat you can't have them @ 5.75 <G> But you know me hold on & you might get them @ $5 even. <VBG> Im watching WSTL cosely & feel as does Ray. After missing the run on AMTX the 13.375 price is hauntingly familar but Im like Ray, I can wait. I think we will see a downturn in the overall market for the next 6 months, (excluding the year end rally) level out, close @ about this years level & then thru the roof for the next five years. Pat can confirm my views on this via an e-mail I sent her earlier this year even though I can't exactly explain why I think I know this. I like Pat's approach in building positions & hope to hold a few during this time span since Im going to be covered up @ work in the coming year. I plan on doing some catching up the last week of this year & will post the links I find.

Best Regards & Season Greetings to all

Dug

P.S.
Just looked @ WSTL this morning & don't know if I can wait.
