Yes, Teck is a very competent operator, and when the project moves forward it will be solid, IMHO.

Risk of future dilution is firmly in the control of management and that will have a major impact on what we will see as a return on investment.

Also, having lots of other projects on the go - could they not use the cash from an eventual buyout to further these projects vs. providing a dividend to shareholders? Stranger things have happened...
If SC is half what its purported to be, it should have been enough to stand on its own. If Ernesto is the driving force behind these acquisitions and development projects, couldn't they start a new company and buy to their hearts content? Why tie SC (and the district potential) to these other less lustrous properties?

Tying these other projects to SC also ties our investment success (or at least reduced losses) to the success of these properties - I don't think anyone is invested here for the side projects. Spin them off if its possible.
