Or we could equally speculate Teck was just as surprised at the BFS results as the retail investors. It's possible CUU management felt we didn't have the negotiating position the Pre-FS type of results would have supported, and chose to get what they could from Teck. Without EE agreeing to fund CUU for several years if required then enforcing the Salazar would become problematic. Teck could still pick up the property at the liquidation sale in year or two. Remember who benefited the most from the cash back so we probably know what EE's position was for further funding. Teck has indicated via the JV released information what they are trying to do with the property.
