John Murphy DID NOT say that-I,ve watched CNBC all day. And your experience with AOL is very limited I can see. Really now. Group in AOL with CIS and Prod.Please. AMER is down because of GNN. GNN is the #2 ISP by the way. AOL only gets 11% of revenues from subscribers using it's service for www access. AMER is largly off because it was a little ahead of its self in stock price. It was just another excuse to take profits and get back in-which I did-back in at 46.Even if you dont believe that content is important you would be a fool not to buy this big cat on the bounce. ATT&T is only going to provide access to the internet not content. As an investor I use AOL because of its forums,convienant research tools (Zachs,First Call,etc,etc.),and its news search (which will search news wires for news you want and e-mail it to you-offline)-no extra charge. No where else could i have got the news today-this am-that HP was coming out with an internal Zip drive in its new PC line. Bought 1000 more shares and made an extra 3000.00 this afternoon. I have been all over the net-and Im sure that I've missed alot-but this is (SI)the only active forum for stocks that I,ve found. But I will tell you AOL has 1000 times this. It is by far the best investment tool on the www. PS I wonder what T is going to do with the new voice internet software that is now available-GIVE AWAY long distance calls-the irony of it all. PSS GNN is offering internet voice with its service next month-and GNN is 15.oo a month. PSSS T has lost $ on every internet play yet. T's stock price (as of yesterday) is a dollar down for a year-I dont have to tell you what AOL's is (even today) PSSSS You'all flounder out here for a while longer-but as as investor spending a couple of extra hundred dollars a month aint nothing for the speed an ease for investment info i get on AOL. CIS,MSN,and Prod. are junk in comparision. And the WWW? There is stuff out here but I think I will take it in one piece thank you.
