Wind and Solar are never, ever "cheap."
After amortization, they're FREE except for minimal maintenance. I just don't understand how you, who claims to be an accountant, can't understand the benefits. Everyone should be building them like crazy. Our government should fund putting them on all south facing rooftops in America until they produce more energy than we need. It should also be investing in massive-scale energy storage, to correct their only flaw.

Jeez, they even get that in TEXAS!

If you could buy a car that ran without fuel, would you buy one? I think so.
