Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) said, “If there’s no action before 2012, that’s too late. What we do in the next two to three years will determine our future. This is the defining moment.” Wrong. We have seen numerous alarmist failures. Perhaps now the world can get on with calm, realistic evaluations of the data in a more sterile environment where publicity isn't the driving force. If not, it may someday actually become a crisis. For now, the failure of the climate science community's efforts to gen up a crisis is a good thing, in that they will have to be quiet for a while and allow real research to occur.
