My best baseball memory was from around 1965 I think. Koufax was at his PEAK and he was pitching against the Cubs that day. I was sitting on the 3rd base line at Wrigley and the Cubs actually knocked Koufax out of the game. This was SO incredible that the Cubs fans cheered so loud and long that Koufax actually stepped out from the dugout and waved his hat. At the time my life seemed to be charmed. Every Cubs game I had gone to the Cubs had won.
