Seems precarious to me that it is "safe to say" that demand reduction resulting from an economic contraction
will take the same course that excess supply from innovative procedures has provided.

One has to once again believe that peak oil is the overriding force.

As a usual optimist I like the idea that particulate oil can be the fuel of the next industrial revolution with in the borders of the USA ,Mexico, and Canada.

It seems to me to lie on how closely the huge margins of $100.00 oil were kept to the chest.

One thing for sure it resulted in the fast flowing of capital to the opportunity.

As the Saudi's fight for market share - it would be wonderful if our shale fracing hero's were one of the last standing.

If so one then has to understand how the emerging markets will deal with their debt and negative free cash flow.

Bond default or currency collapse ought to be a home run in the future as capital runs away from high cost producers.
