Jaffo,
I talked to Investor relations this morning and he explained the "deemed dividend." Their accounting firm Ernst & Young convinced them to adjust their bookkeeping to show the "deemed dividend." I need to do the calculation myself now and then I'll post it. He explained the companies impression of their low stock value and it made sense.

When a new company comes out with a promising product like SAF/NT, you get a lot of brokers who see this and talk their clients into buying up large portions of it. Word gets around and they push up the price like what happend at the end of '96. After a few months when the word has gotten around and the price is sufficiently high, one by one they tell their clients to sell. It's obvious that a product isn't going to bring in huge revenues during it's first quarter of release, so their basically betting on momentum to keep the price going.

We little guys have paid the price for not being on the inside. I do think we can take advantage of the situation now though. The stock is a bargain at 3/8. I'm not saying it might not drop before it goes up, but When I'm thru estimating '97 earnings, I'll make my decision.
