TideGlider - Cartoons and talking points coupled with character assassination are the only weapons the progressive has in his arsenal. Workable ideas, answers and solutions reflecting and agreeing with human nature are totally missing. The agenda of the progressives is a return to social experiments that have failed in every attempt. They are unworkable because they are at odds with the truth of human nature.
When you consider the constituency of the Demonrats it is understandable why that their arsenal is enough for them to advance their agenda. The constituency of the progressives are oblivious to how their ignorance is used to keep them subjugated and in effect, kept in slavery. Without the ignorance of the progressives constituency, none of their agenda would have a chance of implementation. See Gruber's Obamacare.
The gulf between the progressive Demonrat and Conservatism is an extremely wide one. What is needed by Conservatives is leaders who articulate that difference. We need leaders who recognize the huge difference between the touchstones of Conservatism and Liberalism. We need leaders who unashamedly contend for the principles of individual liberty, unobtrusive federal government as set forth by the Constitution, which is the mantra of a true conservative. These principles are in harmony with the highest aspirations of human nature.
Our country is in dire need of such leaders. We have a few. They need to be placed in the positions of real power. They need to be placed in the Presidency and leadership of the Senate and the House.
That is if the Republic is to be saved from its domestic enemies.
