It doesn't just support the Canadian oil industry, it supports the U.S. oil industry.

The more oil that comes in the more refineries and refinery workers.

If the current Keystone has had that many spills then maybe we should worry more about the standards of construction and security of the pipeline rather than whether it should be built.

That oil is going to be extracted regardless. I'd rather have the profits and jobs it will create stay in the U.S. rather than be exported overseas.
