Hi Quad. "Market Makers". These guys have been playing with the ......
spreads on Novell for quite a long time now. That's why if you watch
the stock daily, you see massive amounts of trades in the 16ths,
32nd's sometimes even 64th's. Novell's average volume is around ~1.9M,
and it typically goes up in a down market and down in an up market.
Right now, it's just floating (as it has been for the last year or so)
and it's very deceiving at times when you look at it's activity to
try and "tie it" to some "happening". "Very predictable" is for the
MM's <g>, obviously because "they" have the advantage over you or I
on the "spreads". I'm not telling you what to do with you money, other
than learn as much about this company and where it's "at" right now.
There could very well be more "downside" potential. Good Luck. ...Joe
