Steve, <the K6-266 comes out> My understanding is that there might be two flavors of K6-266. One, in 0.25um will definitely run below 2.1V.
The older 0.35um chips are also doing better as time progresses. So far, as a part of my screwdriver work, I have seen a lot of K6 that could run Windows at 262MHz AND 2.8V. This does not mean that they will pass in the whole temperature range or voltage jitters, by anyway...
